Binks Overseas can provide extensive support for contractors who wish to operate on a sole trader basis. In this solution, Binks can register the contractor as self-employed, set up their tax accounts and offer payroll and accounting services in line with specific country legislation

Set up

Binks gathers information about the circumstances of the assignment and reasons for needing a sole trader solution. This is then assessed and advice given on the most appropriate and efficient solution. Binks will complete all the international registration requirements in the chosen country, providing everything required to start work compliantly. We can also assist with a VAT registration if this is required. The Binks team will guide the contractor through the process stage by stage to ensure a cohesive yet transparent journey to self employment.

 

Getting the most effective solution 

Binks can advise on relevant expat and tax schemes to ensure the sole trader is working in the most efficient way. We have over 20 years’ worth of experience and knowledge in international payroll and tax solutions and can draw on this knowledge to ensure we give the most current and effective advice. 

Sole Trader Accounting

Binks can provide a monthly set of basic accounts and a recommendation of what salary to pay and what to withhold for payment of local taxes and social costs. Binks provides a “payslip” each month and then accounts will be provided Monthly/Quarterly/Annually as required. The contractor will need to provide a monthly invoice for work done and all relevant receipts/invoices for business expenses incurred. This information is then used to produce accounts and stored safely for future reference
